Nicolas Hamblenne is the Managing Partner of PRAGMA Law, bringing 12 years of international experience advising clients in Luxembourg, Belgium, and the UK.

Nicolas specialises in the intersection of Technology, IP, Media, and Data Protection. He provides strategic counsel on a wide range of IT matters, with a particular focus on GDPR compliance, commercial agreements, and marketing law. Beyond regulatory compliance, Nicolas is deeply involved in helping clients optimise their Intellectual Property strategies, managing the protection, enforcement, and negotiation of complex licensing and distribution contracts involving intangible assets such as copyright and trade mark rights.

Being proactive in the legal community, Nicolas serves as the Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) Legal Group and is a member of the AI Commission at the Luxembourg Bar. He also previously served as Chair of the IAPP Luxembourg chapter (2022–2025).

Dedicated to the future of privacy law, Nicolas has been CIPP/E certified since 2017 and has been teaching Data Protection and Media law basics to Master’s students at IHECS Brussels since 2016.

Käthleen SIEGEL

Associate

Käthleen Siegel is an Associate in the IP/IT team at PRAGMA Law, bringing 4 years’ experience advising clients on the legal challenges of the digital economy.

Käthleen focuses her practice on intellectual propertydata protection, and commercial contracts. She has developed particular strength in IT and Regulatory compliance, having advised Luxembourg financial-sector clients on DORA, CSSF outsourcing requirements, GDPR, and AML/KYC obligations.

Having also managed the contractual framework of the companies she worked for, she knows what running a business’s legal function actually involves, and she advises clients with those commercial priorities in mind.

Käthleen holds a Master’s degree in Business Law (2022), with a specialisation in IP and IT.
